How to Backup grandMA2 Data?

This issue will show you how to backup grandMA2 data. Don't bias comments, the content shared here is for your reference only. Explain that this is the explanation of MA1, the title is wrong.

1. Backup data
All the programs and console settings compiled for a show are collectively referred to as a Show, which is saved in the hard disk of the console. Each show can be saved with a different name. The console can save many years of Show. Each time, the console can only use one Show from the hard disk. The show that is being used is called the current show, as shown in the figure below, the current show of the console is WANHUI.

Press the Back Up button to enter the backup interface shown below. Press the Hard Disk on the upper right to enter the operation of the hard disk. Press SAVE Show to save the current Show to the hard disk. Press once to save once. SAVE Show AS saves the current Show under a different name and sets the new Show as the current Show. Press it, a dialog box appears, you can use the keyboard to create a new name, press Enter to confirm. If you are programming a new show and plan to modify it based on the current Show, you can start like this. The original name Show is also saved on the hard disk and will not be damaged.

2. Regular backup.
This is often the case. It takes half a day to program, but because the power supply was interrupted unexpectedly and the program was not saved, it wasted a lot of hard work. You can set the console to save automatically! In the lower right corner of the backup interface, open the automatic save time, you can choose between 30-120 minutes. Set to 60, then automatically save once every hour. The console will generate up to 10 backup files for the current Show, always keeping the most recent 10.

3. Call the backup file
Enter the backup interface, press LOAD SHOW on the screen, a dialog box appears, press the button below it to show Show Also Backups also shows the backup file, you can see the backup file. As shown in the figure above, the time each backup file is saved is recorded. Choose one of them and you can call it out.

4. Bring up the previous Show
If a show has been done before, it is now necessary to tune it out. Press LOAD Show to open the Show list on the hard disk, find the desired Show, and tune it out.

5. Start a new Show
If a show is going to be completely restarted, press LOAD Show, enter a new name with the keyboard, press Enter to confirm, the new Show becomes the current Show, then everything will be done from scratch.

6. Remove Show
Press Delete Show to open the list of Show on the hard disk, find the Show to be deleted, and confirm.

7. Delete the current Show
If the console crashes, it is often caused by data errors in the current Show.
During the operation of the console, there may be a power interruption and a very short interruption. If it occurs during hard disk reading and writing, it will cause errors in the hard disk data. This kind of error accumulation will cause the console to crash to a certain extent.
At this time, do not use the current Show anymore, it is better to delete the current Show. At the same time, do not use the "SAVE Show AS" method to make a new Show, so the error is still brought down. The current Show cannot be deleted directly, you need to exit it first, and then delete it,
You can use the LOAD Show method to start a new Show, and then delete the original wrong Show. It is recommended that users configure a UPS uninterruptible power supply for Ultra Light to prevent the power supply from being interrupted!

8. Floppy disk backup data
Press the Back Up key to enter the backup interface, and press Floppy Disk hard disk to enter the operation of the floppy disk.FORMAT Disk is a formatted floppy disk. It is recommended to format the floppy disk before saving to prevent errors on the floppy disk. SAVE Show is to save the current Show to a floppy disk. LOMD Show is to transfer the Show on the floppy disk to the console to become the current Show. Be careful! If the data on the floppy disk is wrong, calling its show with the LDAD Show method may cause the console to crash. 22

The above is the most basic operation method of GrandMA, master these methods, you can start to control the light. But to become a master, you also need to continue to practice and explore in use. As you use and explore, you will find that the console has many better methods of operation. Of course, if you can refer to the original grandMA user manual for practice, the progress will be faster.
