How to Use Moving Head Light and LED Par Light on Wedding Event?

LED par lights and moving head lights are more commonly used in the wedding events. If these two lights are used well in combination, the effect is also very good for wedding planning.

Generally, in a wedding event management, the wedding event planners will use 4 sets of 7R 230W beam moving head light or 6 sets of 7R 230W beam moving head light and 8 sets of LED par lights, which will not cost a lot of wedding planning costs. So how to position the stage lights to achieve better results, and how to reflect the different effects of moving head lights and led par lights in each wedding event planning process? Because we used to hear wedding event photographers say that when the newlyweds are on the scene, the gobo effect of moving head lights is too messy and it feels unattractive. Also, the color of the LED par light is too much and their face is not clear when the photo is taken. So when the newlyweds are on the scene, how should the effect of the led par light and the moving head light be done?

The moving head light can be placed behind the stage or on both sides, as long as it does not sweep the face of the newlyweds, the pattern will not affect the effectiveness of the shot. LED par light is better for wash, but it will affect the effect of shooting. So we are better to use it as surface light. 4 sets of beam lights are lined up in front of the stage. If the newlyweds are on the stage, don’t light the stage. Use light blue or white light for the par light so it doesn’t affect the shooting effect. Don't use red, people are like ghosts, haha. A wedding event is unlike the stage show. The stage show program is all in full color, and the effect of the show production does not matter what the photographers think.

Now wedding event planners all use moving head lights and LED par lights to make a background. Make a full-court effect in front of the beam stage, and the new emcee will catch up with 2 chasing lights, and the effect is better. LED par lights can be placed on both sides of the catwalk for the color wash.

If there are 4 sets of beam moving head lights, we usually put one on each side of the platform, and then set them up on both sides of the T platform. You can use the LOGO or follow light as a surface light, but the LED par lights are best not to hit the face. There are so many stage lighting equipment for weddings. It’s not enough for a small stage show. At least extra 8 sets of back-lights are needed for face light and 2 sets of follow-up lights. In addition, for fixed-point lighting, at least 10 to 16 sets of P64 lights. Supporting silicon box and power management system are also necessary, at least it looks more formal. That kind of power system with a wooden box and a few knives will be looked down upon by Party A and will have a very bad impact on further cooperation in the future.
